Springlea Cruising Club is based at our clubhouse in Springfield Marina on the River Lee Navigation
We exist to support the social and recreational needs of our local community of boaters, including wider formal and informal engagement with other recreational groups in the boroughs of Hackney and Waltham Forest.
In our clubhouse we host a dazzling array of events: Social gatherings, workshops, cultural events, children’s parties, music and comedy nights and so much more. We have a long history of hosting and holding joint events with fellow cruising clubs from the Lea Valley and London region and with local neighbourhood sports & recreational groups. We also operate a bar at the clubhouse several nights a week.
Full membership is available to all berth holders at Springfield Marina and costs £20/year (or £10/year for self-declared low-income members). Any berth holder who has not paid a subscription is welcome to use the clubhouse but, unlike paid members, does not have a say in the running of the club. Guests of members or invited groups are welcome to attend Club events for free.
